Levvy Metal: Live at the Klondyke
Eccentric beats bouncing off the cobbles of the street with no name,
echoing across the Klondyke's festival sites and fund-raiser nights,
packing the Old Abbey for Wacky Horo Show delights
Levvy Metal ...
a behemoth of Balkanalia, a leviathon of sound
horns and helicons, brass aplenty
saxes, clarinets and flutes, a mighty breath
Centuries ago, Leofwine's Island ...
but, to you and me, now Leve or Levy ....
or even Levvy (rhymes with heavy)
Levvy Metal ...
never the same twice
reforming, regrouping, newly-shaping
a chameleon, a massed gathering
Levenshulme's finest
